I invite you on a 6-week group journey that will take you to the very depths — to the depths of your creativity, to the depths of your grief, to the depths of your trust, to the depths of your joy and vitality…to the depths of your very soul.

This is a group writing program (and — so much more than a writing program) to help you tell the stories from the depths of your soul so you can become a magnet for those who are meant for you.

In this program, I won’t be teaching you “how to write…” because I believe that you already know.

You already have stories to tell — this program is here to help you finally tell them.

We won’t be talking about technique…we’ll be embodying our TRUTH.

We won’t be talking about mastery…we’ll be trusting the MYSTERY.

We won’t be “learning”…we’ll be remembering how to deeply LISTEN.

This program isn’t about forcing gratitude or about mining our grief for gold because we think our pain needs to be palatable.

This is about honoring + embodying the golden beacon of light we organically became when we were willing to walk through fire.   • I currently have no plans to run it again so if you’re interested — join this round. If I do run it in the future, it will definitely be a higher price, so this is the lowest price it will ever be.

  • Live calls take place weekly on Wednesdays beginning May 14 through June 25th, alternating between 5pm PT and 10am PT to accommodate different time zones.

    You will also have lifetime access to the recordings if you can’t make any of the calls live.

  • This is a group program and doesn’t include guaranteed 1:1 time with Melina. However, there will likely be time for some questions and mentoring at the end of calls as time permits, and there is a 90-minute bonus call specifically for mentorship and Q+A during week 6. If you’d like more 1:1 time with Melina during or after the program, you can always apply for 1:1 mentorship here.

  • Absolutely not. All kinds of grief are welcome - not just those who have lost loved ones to death. I’ve worked with clients grieving old identities, old relationships, dreams that didn’t come true, and many other kinds of grief. All grief is welcome.

Writing is in my bones.

And, in the depths of my grief, writing has saved me.

When I was 28 weeks pregnant with my first child, my mother — my best friend — was diagnosed with terminal cancer and given six months to live. I gave birth to my son without medication and held my mother as she died just 11 weeks later. My entire life changed quickly and irrevocably.

I started my Substack when we found out my mom’s cancer was terminal, and since then it has truly taken off. It may look like overnight success — but I’ve actually been baring my soul and sharing my writing online since 2018. For most of those seven years I saw little growth — oftentimes, I would just lose subscribers every time I sent an email.

And then, a few of my poems went viral on Substack, and the rest is history.

As as my writing began to RESONATE with so many of you, this program poured through me.

My writing and poetry has now gone viral several times on Substack — one poem I wrote brought me me 100k views and 400+ subscribers in less than a week.

…but going viral doesn’t actually make me qualified to guide you, because going viral isn’t something I can teach in five simple steps, and it’s not something I can control.

I’m “qualified” to guide you because of the lifetime I’ve spent in dedication to my craft. I’ve been a writer since before I could hold a pencil. I was so desperate to write and tell stories that I’d dictate plots and characters to my mother so she could write them down.

I’m “qualified” to guide you because in adolescence, I stopped writing for many years after suffering from paralyzing fear and comparison. I remember the moment in a college creative writing workshop that I said, “I’m done writing — I’m just not good enough.” And yet…here I am. Writing and sharing from my heart in a way that resonates.

I’m “qualified” to guide you because eight years after that college class I started writing again and decided to start my own business because my soul was slowly suffocating in a cold and lifeless cubicle. I wasn’t made to sit in a cubicle.

I’m “qualified” to guide you because of the 6+ years I’ve now spent baring my soul through my writing online where instead of growth I would just lose subscribers every time I shared, because of all the unseen work it took to get here and how many times I had to get back up off of my scraped and bruised knees, because I never gave up.

I didn’t get here through force, I trusted in the timing and kept going.

I’m “qualified” to guide you not because I’ve gone viral, but because of how I walked myself through it and because what happens after you go viral is much more important than going viral itself.

When my poem exploded and subscribers began coming in by the hundreds, I was able to stay grounded amidst the meteoric growth because I know that the numbers have nothing to do with my worth.

Because I’ve spent years putting in the quiet work to validate myself and stay regulated in my nervous system — no matter what. Because I’ve walked through fear and fire and death and birth and grief and loss and met it all face-to-face, time and time again.

Because when the growth inevitably slows down (and it always does), I don’t panic — I trust deeply in the ebbs and flows of creation. I know that tides rise, and they fall, and there’s nothing wrong with that. I know that all creations bloom, and then wither.

I know that linear isn’t better, because life is never linear.

Linear is a lie. Linear is an illusion. Linear keeps us on the hamster wheel going nowhere fast.

And me? I got off that wheel a long time ago. I got off the moment I decided I could no longer stay in my mindless job, and instead followed the pulse of my bleeding, beating heart.

And just like you, I’m writing to share my heart with the world, because it’s my deepest calling — I’m not a published author, and I didn’t have a huge social media following that I brought with me to Substack.

I told the stories from the depths of my soul…and became a magnet for those who were meant for me.

What matters isn’t whether I’m “qualified” — what matters is whether or not my words move you, whether or not my poetry touches a place so deep in your soul you didn’t know it existed, whether or not my frequency fills you with the fire of inspiration and makes you want to write with aching honesty because nothing less will do.
